Ahead of Lok Sabha elections, Ravneet Singh Bittu, the Congress MP representing Ludhiana constituency in Punjab, made a significant political move on Tuesday by joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Bittu, who previously held the seat for the Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency from 2009 to 2014, brings a wealth of political experience to his new party. Notably, in the 2009 Lok Sabha polls, Bittu secured victory by defeating Shiromani Akali Dal’s (SAD) Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema with an impressive margin of 67,204 votes.
