B'luru Congress workers protest against BJP over Dharmasthala issue

The Congress workers on Monday protested against the BJP and Janata Dal Secular workers in Bengaluru, who have been demanding a National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe in the alleged mass burial case in Dharmasthala.

The protesters alleged that the BJP was creating a false narrative against the Congress-led Karnataka government and confusing people in the name of the Dharmasthala issue.

Meanwhile, the BJP on Monday will hold a national convention in Dharmasthala in response to the alleged mass burial controversy in the region.

The national convention is scheduled to begin at 2 pm in support of the Dharmasthala site and will be attended by Karnataka President B.Y. Vijayendra, Leader of the Opposition R. Ashok, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, Pralhad Joshi, along with BJP MPs, MLAs, and other prominent party leaders.
