Birthday cake of Venugopal tastes sour for many in Cong

The tradition of cutting cake on birthdays in Congress has given tension to many leaders.
Leaders had been excited to cut cakes for Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and party leader Rahul Gandhi on their birthdays. But birthday cake for organisation General Secretary KC Venugopal has raised tensions among some leaders.
Rahul Gandhi himself cut and fed the cake to Venugopal, while leaders clapped in celebration. Priyanka Gandhi and other leaders were also present, but party president Kharge was absent. The moment was shared on social media by the Youth Congress and other party handles. The event has sparked discussions within the party, especially given the circumstances surrounding Venugopal's leadership.
