The Punjab Government inaugurated the Tourism Summit and Travel Mart 2023 on Monday morning at Amity University.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann emphasized the enduring importance of prioritizing public welfare initiatives, as governments may change but the goodwill and blessings of the public should remain.
CM Mann announced plans to create a “Celebration Hub” in Amritsar, spanning hundreds of acres and featuring marriage halls, banquets, and hotels. This endeavor offers the people of Punjab the opportunity to reserve Banquet Halls ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 10 lakhs for their celebrations and family functions on the sacred grounds of Amritsar, followed by a visit to Sri Harmandir Sahib.
During the inauguration of the Tourism Summit, well-known Punjabi celebrity, lawyer in Canada, and orator Satinder Kaur Satti served as the emcee. Comedian Kapil Sharma joined CM Mann to participate in the Summit. Pakistani Comedian Ehsaan Quereshi and Comedian Sunil Paul also graced the stage to take part in this event. The captains and leading personalities from the Tourism Sector on Monday gave thumbs up to the unique initiative of the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to organize the first-of-its-kind Tourism Summit and Travel Mart. Addressing the gathering, renowned comedian Kapil Sharma lauded the path-breaking initiatives being made by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for the well-being of the state and its people. Kapil Sharma said that the summit is a laudable step by the state government to promote tourism in the state. He said that this initiative will go a long way in putting the state of Punjab on the map of international tourism.
