Seal pup hitches a ride in helicopter

A SEAL pup in need of help in Cornwall was rescued thanks to a helicopter service which is ordinarily for humans.

Penzance Helicopters, which ferries people from the mainland to the Isles of Scilly and back, said it was thrown a “curve ball” but was happy to help.
The service leapt into action on Saturday, May 10, after a motherless two-week-old seal pup first spotted on Tresco was found again and rescued on St Mary’s.
