HAPPINESS ECONOMY: 'PEACE IS WHAT WE'RE ALL SEARCHING FOR'

The Goliath brothers are back on stage this week at the Pieter Toerien Theatre at Montecasino with a show that's, well, somewhat different to the usual stand-up. It's called the Happiness Economy and runs until Sunday.

The notion that supports the show is the idea that happiness is a currency that's worth investing in. The pair use personal stories, anecdotes, social and environmental observations to tell the story. In a funny way, of course.

If happiness is a currency and you had a wad of it in cash, what would you spend it on?

Jason: Peace. I would buy truckloads of peace. Preparing this show has taught us that happiness only exists in the moment, peace is what lasts and what I think we're all searching for.

Nicholas: If I could spend my happiness as a currency on charitable causes, it would definitely have something to do with kids and early childhood development. I'd spend all my money, all my happiness, on ensuring kids in less fortunate areas experience and enjoy the benefits of just being kids and not have to stress about staying alive every day.
