The Springboks will need to make a number of improvements if they are to pick up a rare win in New Zealand to keep their hopes alive of retaining the Rugby Championship title over the next few weeks.

Rassie Erasmus' Boks face a massive two-game tour of their biggest rivals, and need to pick up at least one win to keep them in the hunt and give them the best chance heading into their final two matches against Argentina.

A shock loss against the Wallabies at Ellis Park put the Boks on the back foot, but they bounced back with a win in Cape Town, and coupled with Los Pumas picking up their first ever win against the All Blacks on home soil, essentially levelled the playing field heading into the second round of fixtures.
