In the past it was always drummed into the lady's to go for regular check-ups with the gynaecologist and doctor so that they can monitor hormonal levels and use early detection methods to prevent diseases like cancer from spreading.
It has now become of equal importance that the men also take a step towards maintaining optimum health by going for frequent check-ups.
One's genetic history can play an important role in the manifestation of certain illnesses. So if you have diseases like diabetes, heart disease, stroke and colon cancer in your family, then it is imperative that you go for a screening with your healthcare professional.
