Family in shock over grisly murder

A Limpopo woman accused of killing her partner and burying him in a shallow grave is expected to appear in the Tzaneen Magistrate's Court today.
The woman from Morutji village in Tzaneen, who has been on the run since 9 November, was arrested a few days ago after community members alerted the police about her whereabouts.
It is alleged that the 31-year-old woman killed Isaiah Maphalle, chopped off some of his body parts and buried the remains in a shallow grave at their home.
Maphalle's sister, Dimakatso Maphalle, said her 42-year-old brother went missing on 31 October, and the matter was reported to the police.
But he was never traced.
"His remains were discovered on 9 November by community members who were picking mangoes from the trees in the yard.
