SILENT AUCTION: CHANCE TO INVEST IN THE FUTURE OF ART STUDENTS

The University of Johannesburg (UJ) Arts & Culture, a division of the faculty of art, design and architecture (Fada), opened a silent auction at A Grand Night for Singing in aid of supporting the dean's bursary fund at the Dean's Concert last Saturday. The auction remains open online until Sunday at 11:59 pm.
This initiative is aimed at providing financial assistance to academically deserving students in the Fada.
"When I first joined the faculty in 2013, I established a bursary fund as a way of assisting needy students who are in good academic standing," says dean Prof Frederico Freschi.
