Howe has dropped a big hint that he wants to hand Fabian Schar a contract extension at Newcastle United.As things stand, the former-Swiss international, who celebrated his 250th appearance against Crystal Palace at the weekend, can talk openly to overseas clubs about a summer move. But with his contract close to expiry, the veteran is open to staying on Tyneside.
When asked about the prospect of Schar staying: “There is definitely a possibility. I think all these things will take care of themselves in time.
