Prison visitor passed drugs to inmate

A WOMAN who handed over drugs to her prison inmate partner on New Years Eve said she was in "abject fear".

Tracey Connolly went to HMP Northumberland to visit her partner Steven Gill on December 31, 2024.
CCTV played in court showed them sitting closest to the camera in the visiting area. As they got up and hugged, Connolly passed a package to Gill, who aroused the suspicion of watching prison officers when they saw his pants moving, as he hid the illicit package inside them.
