OAP 'swept out to sea', say police

POLICE believe missing pensioner Charles Yarwood - known as Mike - was swept out to sea after entering the water near to one of Amble's piers.
-
The Northumberland man was last seen in the coastal town on Friday, November 21.
Extensive enquiries have taken place since then, including police appeals.
CCTV footage led officers to find a further image of Mike, pictured passing the Wynd towards Beal Bank at around 11.30pm that evening.
