A WOMAN diagnosed with cancer after noticing an indentation in her breast is worried about the future of her not-for-proft sensory cafe.

- By KALI LINDSAY

Mum-of-five Lynn Hammel-Randall, 45, noticed the mark after her towel slipped coming out of the bathroom. Initially putting it to the back of her mind, Lynn, from Esh Winning, County Durham, noticed it again days later.

Lynn thought the indent could have been the result of breastfeeding her youngest child, but she decided to consult a doctor.

She said: “We paid for a private referral and the consultant thought it was because I had bigger boobs.

“He thought the indentation was caused by weight, but obviously not.

“I don’t know how long that dent has been there. I only noticed because I saw myself sideways in the mirror in the bedroom, came out of the bathroom and my towel slipped and I thought ‘oh what's that?!

“I noticed it again and thought I hadn't lent against something, it is still there. As soon as I started to Google, I worried.

“You assume you should feel a lump, but there wasn’t.”
