Kallum's running for his dad who died during GNR

A MAN is set to undertake a running challenge in memory of his father who died while participating in the Great North Run 25 years ago.

Next month, Kallum Findley is planning to run a half-marathon every day for 25 days to raise funds for charity.

As well as raising money, the 27-year-old will also be paying tribute to his dad Gavin, who tragically died during the Newcastle to South Shields half-marathon.

Kallum is raising funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), a charity that raises awareness about young sudden cardiac deaths and promotes heart screening for youths.

His efforts will raise much-needed funds for the organisation and will see him clock up over 327 miles in less than a month.
