COMPANY IS PLANNING TO RESTRUCTURE OPERATIONS FROM JANUARY
JOBS are set to go at a Northumberland logistics depot which is attached to a major regional employer.
It is understood that around 47 jobs are at risk at the DHL depot at the Essity facility at Prudhoe Mill.
The Prudhoe Mill factory is the North East base for the global tissue maker, manufacturing products under household brands including Tena, Bodyform, Velvet, Cushelle and Plenty.
Earlier this year Essity - UK’s biggest user of recycled fibre in household tissue - switched production from its 50-year-old plant to a new £30m recycling facility built right alongside.
