Witness appeal after spate of bike robberies

OFFICERS investigating a number of robberies and an attempted robbery in the Ellesmere Port area are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to contact them.

Between Monday, June 9 and Monday, June 16, Cheshire Police received four reports of robbery or attempted robbery.
On Monday, June 9, at some time between 11.16pm and 11.24pm, a 17-year-old boy was riding his bike along Hooton Road, Ellesmere Port, when he was followed by a blue car.
The boy continued on to Wirral Way but the car followed him before the occupants assaulted him and stole the bike.
