Glowing report on inclusive academy
The Chester Chronicle
|May 08, 2025
THE Grosvenor Park Church of England Academy in Chester is celebrating its recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS), which praised the school for its deeply rooted Christian ethos, inclusive culture and high-quality education.
Inspectors found that the academy, part of the North West Academies Trust, is “living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish”.
The school's vision of Love Thy Neighbour (Luke 10-27) was noted as a driving force behind its caring and inclusive community, academic ambition and spiritual development.
Among the highlights of the report:
• The school’s vision is firmly embedded in daily life, creating a strong sense of belonging and inspiring kindness, respect, and compassion.
• Pupils from diverse backgrounds are celebrated and welcomed, contributing to a rich and inclusive learning environment.
