IMRAN Savas, a Chester resident who built award-winning professional services company Tape UK from scratch, has become one of the city’s most notable entrepreneurial success stories while maintaining a commitment to his home city.

Born at the Countess of Chester Hospital to a working-class family whose grandparents arrived in Chester in the 1970s, Mr Savas has risen from humble beginnings that included receiving free school meals to becoming a nationally recognised business leader.
He founded Tape UK in Chester in 2019 with no clients, no team and no outside investment.
Today, Tape UK has organically expanded nationwide with a presence in major cities such as London, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool, maintaining a remarkable 99 per cent client retention rate while serving small businesses across the United Kingdom.
