Supreme Court Dismissed Bail Petition Of Suspended Janta Dal (S) Leader Prajwal Revanna In Rape And Sexual Assault Case

The Supreme Court in the case Prajwal Revanna versus The State Of Karnataka observed and has dismissed the petition filed by a suspended Janta Dal (S) leader Prajwal Revanna seeking bail in the case over allegations of rape and sexual assault.

The bench comprising of Justice Bela M. Trivedi and Justice Satish Chandra Sharma was hearing the present matter.
The counsel, Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi, appearing for Revanna, argued before the court that the offense of Section 376 of Indian Penal Code, Rape was not mentioned in the complaint.
The counsel, Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi stated that the complaint does not talk about Section 376 issue.
The bench headed by Justice Trivedi then pointed out that there were several other complaints.
