Urges Supreme Court to issue directions to Union government to resolve farmers' issues

Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that the Supreme Court should issue directions to the union government to resolve farmer issues without any delay.
Cheema visited Khanauri Border on Friday to meet farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who is on a hunger strike demanding justice for farmers from the central government.
Cheema strongly criticized the central government's rigid stance and urged immediate talks with farmer leaders. He also referred to a recent Supreme Court directive asking the Punjab government to ensure medical care for Dallewal.
