KTR LAUNCHES 'CM BREAKFAST SCHEME' IN TELANGANA

The scheme will provide nutritious food to the students along with quality education, and it will be implemented across Telangana from 24 October, when the schools will reopen after the Dussehra holidays.

KT Rama Rao, the Minister for Information Technology in Telangana, has inaugurated the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme within the state. The launch event took place at a government school in West Marredpally, where more than 23 lakh students from Classes 1 to 10 were present. This scheme is designed to offer nutritious breakfasts to schoolchildren all across Telangana. As part of the initiative, students enrolled in government schools will receive a wholesome breakfast every day. The breakfast menu includes items such as idli, upma, poha, sandwiches, and more. The Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme is expected to benefit approximately 23 lakh students attending over 52,000 government schools in Telangana.
