India's economic policy is expected to remain consistent regardless of I whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi secures a third term in office, according to former central bank Governor Raghuram Rajan. Speaking to Bloomberg TV's David Ingles on Tuesday, Rajan emphasized the embedded continuity within Indian policy frameworks, suggesting that any incoming government would likely maintain and build upon the effective measures already in place.

"There is a lot of continuity built into Indian policy," Rajan noted during the interview, held on the sidelines of the UBS Asian Investment Conference in Hong Kong.

He expressed confidence that future administrations would continue with the positive initiatives established by their predecessors, ensuring a stable economic trajectory.

Rajan, currently a finance professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, highlighted that the foundational policies in place are robust enough to transcend political changes.
