The Business Guardian
|April 30, 2025
A high-level meeting is currently underway at the Ministry of Home Affairs in the national capital on Tuesday, following heightened security concerns triggered by the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

The meeting is being chaired by senior officials, including Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan. Also present are the Director Generals of the Border Security Force (BSF), Assam Rifles, and the National Security Guard (NSG), along with top officials from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
This emergency meeting comes in the wake of the deadly Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 26 people, sending shockwaves across the nation and prompting a strong response from the security establishment. The incident has led to an immediate intensification of counter-terrorism efforts across Jammu and Kashmir, with coordinated operations being carried out by multiple agencies to identify and neutralize terror threats.
