The landscape in and around my town is as flat as a pancake. So, the undulating terrain of mountains has as much attraction for me as a falling apple has for the ground (or someone's head if it happens to come in the way). Also, Hindi movie songs having mountains as the backdrop (which occupy a major part of the memory storage of my brain) have brain-washed me into having a viewpoint that romance of all hues (with life, companion, nature, spirituality etc.) can be rekindled in the hills.

But I don't dream of settling down in a picturesque valley because I can't do without my social circle in Ludhiana comprising like-minded friends (all of us have more than adequate work-life balance – more time is spent for pursuing hobbies as compared to work). Also, I am unable to do any strenuous task except the use of the keyword of the laptop and touchscreen of the smartphone.
