FROM COW SERVICE TO PUBLIC SERVICE: THE INSPIRING JOURNEY OF MANOJ SONI

From the small town of Bhadra in Hanumangarh district to the bustling city of Jaipur, his journey is a story of tireless service, commitment, and purpose.

For over two decades, Manoj Soni has exemplified what it means to live for others. Though involved in multiple fields, he is most widely recognized as a dedicated Gausevak (cow caretaker). Since 2008, Manoj has been regularly providing fresh vegetables and green fodder to cow shelters in and around Jaipur. What began as a personal initiative has continued uninterrupted for 17 years, becoming a mission to protect and care for cows. To address the issue of injured cows on the roads, he formed a team of doctors who provide on-site treatment to cows involved in accidents. His efforts earned him the title of “Gauputra”, a reflection of the community’s recognition of his devotion.
