Delhi Police celebrates 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram

The Delhi Police on Friday commemorated the 150th anniversary of the national song, “Vande Mataram”, with patriotic events held across all districts and units, officials said.

A central ceremony took place at the Delhi Police Headquarters, where Commissioner of Police Satish Golchha, along with senior officers and personnel, participated in a collective rendition of the song, a statement from the police said.
Simultaneous programmes were organised at police stations and units citywide, encouraging participation from personnel as well as local residents.
