The Delhi High Court restrained a 'rogue app' from streaming Star's content after a copyright suit was filed by Star Channels.

The Delhi High Court in the case Star India Private Limited vs. Tajkir Mohammad Tanvir (King's Pro+) And Ors observed wherein a copyright suit filed by Star Channels.
The court in the case restrained a 'rogue app' and related websites from streaming, reproducing and making the contents of Star Channels available to the public.
In the present case, Star Channels filed the suit for a permanent injunction against King's Pro+ app and related websites i.e., defendant's no.1 for allegedly making Star's original content available for download.
The court observed that Star Channels owns and operates 'Disney+ Hotstar' and claims to have exclusive rights over the contents.
