Bhushan Sharan Singh, former chief of the Wrestling Federation of India, has stated that the case of alleged sexual harassment against him is currently in court, which will handle the matter.
Singh declined to comment further, stating that the issue is now under the court’s consideration. This statement follows the announcement by protesting wrestlers who have decided to end their protest against Singh. They claim that the government has fulfilled its promise of filing a chargesheet against Singh, who is a six-time BJP MP accused of sexual harassment.
Top wrestlers VineshPhogat, Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia, in identical tweets said that the fight will now be fought in court, not on the roads.
