Auto, pharma, tourism sectors to add new jobs: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored India's surging economic growth and the resulting expansive employment prospects during his address at a Rozgar Mela, where he distributed more than 51,000 appointment letters, primarily in the security forces sector.

Modi's speech centered on the imminent rise of key sectors such as automobile, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and food processing, each poised for rapid expansion, consequently offering substantial job opportunities for the youth.

Modi's overarching theme was the Indian economy's dynamic trajectory, with its associated benefits translating into significant job openings for the country's burgeoning youth population. The Prime Minister particularly emphasized the remarkable growth potential of sectors such as automobile, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and food processing.

One of the key sectors highlighted by Modi was tourism. The Prime Minister projected that the tourism industry alone would contribute a staggering Rs 20 lakh crore to India's economy by 2030. This exponential growth potential in tourism is anticipated to create between 13 to 14 crore new job opportunities, marking a significant stride in employment generation.
