Auto majors set for price hike amidst upswing in input costs

The pressure to balance rising input costs is leaving little option for India’s automobile industry than to go for a price hike.

Hyundai Motor India has announced an increase in prices of its models with effect from 1 January, 2024 as the company bows to rising input cost, adverse exchange rate and increase in commodity prices, amongst other reasons. The price hike will be effective from January 1st, 2024.
