The prevailing cold wave condition has once again prompted shutdown of schools in Jamshedpur.
Jamshedpur reeled under an intense cold wave on Thursday as temperatures dipped sharply, with the city's minimum temperature hovering around 8 degrees Celsius, prompting authorities to take urgent preventive measures for student safety.Acting on a weather warning issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the District Education Office of East Singhbhum announced the suspension of academic activities in all government, aided, and private schools across the district.
