TOP 50 FOR ALEX!
Tempo
|November 04, 2025
Alex Eala continues her historic rise in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) singles rankings after breaking into the Top 50 for the first time in her career this week.
The 20-year-old Filipina trailblazer jumped one notch from No. 51 last week despite a second-round finish at the WTA250 Hong Kong Open a few days ago.
Eala advanced to the second round after British player Katie Boulter retired to injury, 6-4, 2-1 (ret), but yielded to Canadian third seed and eventual champion Victoria Mboko, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
