MM cops on alert starting Nov. 28 for 'Trillion' march

Police in Metro Manila will be on the highest security alert status starting Nov. 28 as part of the security measures for the second part of the Trillion Peso March on Nov. 30.
Buoyed by what he described as a peaceful and orderly two-day rally of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila recently that was attended by over 600,000 people, Police Major Gen. Anthony A. Aberin, director of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), expressed confidence that they will be able to secure the Nov. 30 protest action.
