Jeepney hits Caloocan electric post, 16 hurt

Sixteen people were injured after a passenger jeepney lost its brakes and crashed into an electric post along Camarin Road in Barangay 175, North Caloocan, on Thursday, August 28.
The Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) said the jeepney was cruising along Palmera Street when the driver noticed that his vehicle's brakes malfunctioned, causing him to lose control, which forced him to slam the jeepney into the post.
