OWNER LEFT 'GAGGING' BY SMELL

- By LAUREN COLE-LOMAS

Parked cars covered in poo

A GATWICK worker was left disgusted during his daily commute after seeing poo and food waste had been chucked over cars parked near the airport.

The commuter, who wishes to remain anonymous, was left gagging at the stench after getting out of his vehicle to investigate.

Two cars have been seen to have been targeted by the grim concoction.

The issue of cars being left by travellers to avoid airport parking charges has long been a gripe for residents in neighbouring Horley.

The cars were left on Povey Cross Road which runs close to the airport's perimeter.

The first was allegedly parked on double yellow lines and had been egged, and was covered in food waste.
