In-form Llamas man Haughton stars with the bat against Ashtead

LUKE HAUGHTON starred with the bat for the second week runnimng as Reigate Priory beat Ashtead by six wickets in the Surrey Championship Premier Division.

On an overcast day at Park Lane, the start of the match was delayed by half an hour after early showers, and with rain in the air.

Priory won the toss and perhaps understandably, put Ashtead into bat, and Fraser Sheat and Ben Ware opened the bowling.

Unfortunately, Ware pulled up lame in his second over, and was forced to pull out with an injury and George Ealham came on to finish the over.

After ten overs, Ashtead were 42-0, before the Priory spinners then got into the game.
