COUNCIL-OWNED land described as “like a dog's loo” could be sold to developers for new homes and potentially a doctors’ surgery.
Berkeley Homes wants to transform Hersham Technology Park into dozens of new homes.
Cabinet members of Elmbridge Borough Council have agreed to progress negotiations to sell a piece of council land for development plans on the old Hersham Technology Park. Berkeley Homes, the new site owners, hope to submit a planning application this year.
The council owns a triangular piece of land next to Hersham Technology Park, on the southeast side of Queensway.
