Three arrested in clampdown on investment fraud

Three suspects have been arrested after targeted investment fraud strikes in Sunderland.

The suspected fraudsters, all men, aged 34, 36 and 65, have been arrested as part of a continued clampdown around investment fraud.
Officers from the North East Regional Organised Crime Unit (NEROCU), carried out strikes on addresses on Weardale Avenue, Cairns Road and Moor Lane, Whitburn.
