'Fantastic' Star maintain unbeaten start to season

Assistant manager Michael Johnson described Seaham Red Star's 3-1 win at Newcastle University as a fantastic result as Mark Collingwood's men preserved their unbeaten record for the season.
The two sides were level at halftime as a penalty from Red Star's Matty Weirs was cancelled out by an equaliser from Uni midfielder Ryan Redford. However, it was Collingwood's men that rallied in the second half and they claimed all three points thanks to two goals in nine minutes from Jack Leonard and Ryan O'Connor.
The win means Red Star sit in third place in the Division Two table as assistant Johnson believes the performance and result show just how much confidence is flowing at the moment.
