SOMETHING'S got to give at Tottenham.

Surely it can't carry on like this? Ange Postecoglou will either make history by winning the Europa League - or become history by being shunted out of the door.

That's the immediate problem sorted. For the time being, anyway.

It's almost like a predictive script as to what will take place if the Aussie who appears to be obstinate or clearly not as good as he thinks he is - is booted out.

Even if he clings on to his job by progressing in the Europa League, it's only a matter of time.

His relationship with the supporters began to fray around the edges this time last year when he couldn't understand why a good chunk of them didn't mind losing to Manchester City as long as it meant Arsenal wouldn't pick up the Premier League trophy.

He cupped his ear to them after the equaliser from Pape Matar Sarr that never was on Thursday night at Stamford Bridge. He says they're entitled to criticise him. And then he does that? I've seen custard with a thicker skin.
