The Glasto grans
Sunday People

AROUND one in 10 fans at Glastonbury have grandchildren - and many take them with them.
It means plenty of the audience are as evergreen as this year’s veteran acts Neil Young, 79, and grandad-of-four Rod Stewart, 80.
A poll found Glasto is the UKs’ most family-friendly festival.
More than 40% of the audience are parents, grandparents or kids accompanying them.
And 13% of punters are there with more than one generation of the same family, compared to 10% at the Isle of Wight Festival.
Pamela Tipping, 74, of Staveley, Cumbria, who has three grandkids, went to Glasto for the first time last year with son Miles, 42.
