FOOTBALLERS trying to flog their mansions are knocking hundreds of thousands off.

Stars are struggling to find buyers in Cheshire's "golden triangle", the area including the towns of Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and Prestbury.

England and Manchester City's Phil Foden, 25, has just knocked £300,000 off the asking price of his home in Prestbury, giving it a new tag of £2.95million.
