Lions injury woe... with SIX days to first Test

- FROM ADAM HATHAWAY

LUKE COWAN-DICKIE handed the Lions another injury headache ahead of the first Test when he was carried off 36 minutes into this eight-try win.

After an Adelaide clash when several tourists pressed their cases for inclusion against the Wallabies in Brisbane this coming Saturday, the Sale hooker will now miss out.

Jamie George has been drafted in as an emergency call-up from England's tour in Argentina.

With Garry Ringrose also ruled out for the first Test, Scotland centre Huw Jones impressed. He came off on 50 minutes, with Owen Farrell (right) getting his first action of this tour and having a hand in three scores.

And there was a hat-trick for Scotland wing Duhan van der Merwe who has had a torrid time on tour. His third score meant that Scots had bagged the first six tries a sequence only ended by Ireland's Ronan Kelleher on 69 minutes.

But Lions coach Andy Farrell was left counting his injury woes as much as the try tally.
