Israeli troops 'ordered to fire on Gaza aid queues'

ISRAELI troops have deliberately been firing at unarmed Palestinians near aid sites in Gaza, it is claimed.

Soldiers were ordered to shoot at crowds waiting for food at distribution centres who posed no threat, according to Israeli newspaper Haaretz.

It reported there were 19 shooting incidents near locations run by the US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) in the past month.

Thousands of Gazans are said to arrive each day at GHF's four sites to try to get food handouts.

Gaza’s health ministry says more than 500 Palestinians have been killed seeking food in the month since GHF began operations.
