SUPER SLIMMER MUM'S JAB AT GETTING HER OLD LIFE BACK

A MIDLAND mum who felt trapped in her own body has lost nine stones thanks to the weight loss jab Mounjaro.

Jodie Reid, 32, from Ilkeston, Derbyshire, had battled with her weight for years and after an injury, she saw her weight climb to 19st 6lbs.

Jodie undertook gastric sleeve surgery in 2021 at a cost of £10,500, which led to a five-stone loss in six months.

Jodie's life changed after a "whirlwind" romance with electrician Denny Swan, 29, and she was delighted when she became pregnant.

After baby Eleanor's borth in 2022, the new mum turned to Mounjaro jabs in April 2024 to shed the post-baby pounds and astonishingly lost more weight than she did from her surgery, dropping down to a healthy 10st 9lbs.

The life-changing injections have now made the private nurse a proponent of the treatment.

"So many people are using weight loss jabs now - it's changing lives," she said.
