PET OWNER BANNED AFTER RABBITS TAKEN BY RSPCA

A MIDLAND woman has been banned from keeping animals for 10 years after six rabbits were found in 'filthy and unsuitable conditions.
-
Marion Merriman, of Bond Street, Rugby, kept the pets without enough food, water, housing ventilation or bedding.
Merriman, 50, admitted one offence under the Animal Welfare Act at Coventry Magistrates Court and was ordered to pay costs of £350 and a £114 victim surcharge as well as being disqualified from keeping all animals for 10 years.
