LASHFORD is nothing short of a legendary brand when it comes to Birmingham bangers.

Since 1889, five generations of Lashfords have delivered high-quality sausages across the city and West Midlands.

Now, in a strange twist, Lashford's is forging links with another city - Dubai.

Company production manager Darren Lashford said: "My job is to get the products into Dubai and it's then taken from there, I know we supply the late Gary Rhodes' restaurant Rhodes W1.

"As chefs move from place to place, that's how our name is spreading out there.

"It's surreal seeing influencers with 40,000 followers trying our sausages.
