Questions asked as pupils suffer in poorest areas

EDUCATION Secretary Jenny Gilruth has been challenged by MSPs over Sunday Mail findings some schools are spending just 93p a week on basic supplies per pupil.

For primary pupils in East Ayrshire, the figure fell to a measly 93p.
