GUTTED Gregor Townsend insists Scotland do not have a mental block when it comes to beating Ireland.

The rugby national team boss saw his dreams of leading the country to its first Championship title in 27 years fall apart as their Six Nations bid crumbled at the Aviva.
The Scots needed to beat Andy Farrell's team and hope for an English favour against France if they were to stand a chance.
But instead it was yet another day of despair in Dublin as six tries for the home side confirmed Scotland's 12th straight defeat against the Irish.
Townsend is, however, adamant that Irish dominance has not gotten into his players' heads despite the 43-21 triumph extending a run of woe that now stretches over nine years.
